In 2023, Micro-Pak opened a state of the art plastic-recycling factory in Hubei, China, with a primary mission to provide brands with a practical solution to transition to recycled packaging materials, helping them comply with increasingly stringent EU and US laws on recycled content.
Our facility transforms over 10 metric tonnes of plastic waste each day into the highest quality 100% post-consumer recycled (PCR) resin that is GRS-certified and traceable. Your existing packaging suppliers can use our resin to make 100% recycled polybags, wraps, films and other packaging materials without any cost increase and without changing their production processes. It is a practical and cost effective solution to transition to recycled packaging.
Closing the Loop
