How? It’s simple. Dri Clay® is a certified plastic-free desiccant made from natural bentonite clay that is packaged in biodegradable FSC Kraft paper. In contrast, silica gel and calcium chloride desiccants are synthetic and packaged in plastic. Calcium chloride desiccants account for significantly more plastic because it turns into a highly corrosive gel when it absorbs moisture, and to reduce leakage risks it requires two layers of plastic packaging.
Not only is Dri Clay® more sustainable, but it outperforms the other desiccants in moisture reduction. Additionally, it’s safer because it is free of harmful chemicals and remains dry at all times, posing no leakage risks.
